HackSureste Wired and RushFrame: Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Innovation
HackSureste Wired, in partnership with RushFrame, ran an exciting initiative focused on delivering valuable content online, for free, covering key topics in entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation. Throughout March and April, participants had the chance to dive into this world and expand their knowledge in areas relevant to business development.
Every week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, we offered a range of talks and workshops led by leading experts in their fields. These professionals shared their knowledge and experience to empower attendees, giving them new skills and perspectives to apply to their own ventures.
The agenda was packed with topics that met the needs of an audience hungry for knowledge in entrepreneurship. Participants had the chance to dive into informative, enriching sessions on a range of subjects. Some of the standout events included:
- On March 24, Gabriela Ayón presented "UX Design Principles," a talk where attendees learned why designing effective user experiences matters for the success of their ventures. - On March 26, Elizabeth Salim explored the world of fashion with "Innovation in the Fashion Industry," sharing valuable insight into how innovation could transform this sector. - On March 28, Rodolfo Ferro gave a basic introduction to "artificial neurons," offering a forward-looking view of the world of artificial intelligence. Rodolfo explained how artificial neural networks were being used across fields, from fraud detection to natural language processing, and how entrepreneurs could harness this technology to drive innovation in their own projects.
- On March 31, César Evans focused on "Small data for entrepreneurs," showing how even modest data sets could have a major impact on business decisions. César showed how entrepreneurs could use data collection and analysis techniques to get valuable insight into their customers, competitors, and market, and how to apply that knowledge to sharpen their business strategy.
- On April 2, Carlo Gilmar presented "Visual Thinking," showing how visualization could be a powerful tool for communicating ideas effectively. Carlo explored different visualization techniques, from diagrams and charts to visual prototypes, and how entrepreneurs could use these tools to convey their ideas clearly and persuasively.
- On April 4, Nancy Estens dove into "Disruptive business models," revealing how innovation could upend existing business models. Nancy analyzed examples of successful companies that had challenged traditional models and found new ways to create value for their customers. Participants explored concepts like the sharing economy, subscription models, and mass personalization, and how to apply these ideas to their own ventures.
