For three years I led REDUX, a training program for sustainable entrepreneurs that adapted to virtual delivery during the pandemic, training 200+ people. Five editions took place (2020-2022) in collaboration with INCmty. The methodology was included in Tecnológico de Monterrey's official directory; the director of Entrepreneurship recognized it as a contribution from the youngest author in the directory. Strategic alliances were established between government, private sector, and educational institutions, beating registration and impact targets every year. REDUX Energy is the edition focused on energy efficiency.

I ran the call for those who already had a working prototype (TRL 3-8): university students and researchers. It grew 26% in one year.

Led the call for applications at the mature end of the funnel: early-stage startups. Grew 35% in a year, and the winner raised $1 million.

Events in collaboration with universities; HackSureste established itself as one of the reference hackathons of the southeast (Mérida and Ciudad del Carmen). 4. Partnerships with government, private sector, and universities. 5. ideaLab (HackSureste extension): program to foster innovation in sustainable projects, with training, workshops, mentorships, and networking. 6. Promotion of sustainable entrepreneurship and responsible environmental practices.

The only Ibero-American initiative in the volunteer portfolio. Diego represented Mexico in the Softlanding - Iberoamérica Expande program, FIJE's platform for the international expansion of affiliated companies, adding an international layer to his regional (COPARMEX, HackSureste) and national (Tec de Monterrey) track record.

During my time at INCmty, as National Program Director, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (call design and operation), I built strategic partnerships with government and the private sector, designed and ran calls tailored to different entrepreneurship stages, and coordinated the INC B-Challenge virtual bootcamp, which offered tools and opportunities for entrepreneurs. A prize pool was offered for the best pitches ($80,000.00 MXN: figure pending verification, not to be published without backing), fostering a support ecosystem among founders and driving participants' continued growth.

During my tenure at HackSureste, it established itself as one of southeastern Mexico's leading hackathons, with participation from students across six states (~250 participants per edition). I orchestrated events in collaboration with universities to foster innovation and technology adoption. Thanks to alliances with government and the private sector, registration and impact goals were met, strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem.

Diego joined COPARMEX as an entrepreneur and turned it into his second business education school. His outreach work in Mérida, including a networking event alongside INCmty, put him on the radar that led to his role as ambassador and later national director of the HEINEKEN Green Challenge.

Key results and actions: 1. Brought together 400 young entrepreneurs: convened 400 students from 20 different universities to discuss youth entrepreneurship challenges. 2. Digital registration system: implemented a registration system through Eventbrite to efficiently manage sign-ups. 3. Attendance tracking: ran manual attendance tracking during the event to ensure active participation. 4. Organized workshops and talks: ran workshops, training sessions, and talks, both in-person and online, using live-streaming technology. 5. Logistics and coordination: as general coordinator, planned and executed every activity, juggling multiple roles including facilitator, executive producer, and mentor. 6. Effective communication strategy: promoted the event door-to-door at each university, filling the event despite outreach challenges. 7. Overcame challenges: managed the varied interests of stakeholders involved and secured a suitable venue for the event, contributing to its success. 8. Impact on youth entrepreneurship: the event set an important precedent in youth entrepreneurship at the international level.
